Les Schwab Tires Pacific Northwest O-Mok-See Championship

The word O-Mok-See originates from the Blackfoot Indians where they described a style of riding as “oh-mak-see pass-kan” meaning “riding big dance.” They mounted and gathered at some distance out of camp, then turned and rode together at full speed into the great camp circle, circled around it once, then rode to the center of the camp.

The first Pacific Northwest Championship O-Mok-See was launched in 1980 and has been growing every year since. The PNW O-Mok-See has fast and furious competition by top competitors from throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Snohomish County Western Games Association Presents the 2019 PNW OMOKSEE!
On behalf of Snohomish County Western Games Association, we are excited to invite you all to the 2019 Tires PNW O-MOK-SEE! This is SCWGA's 41st year hosting the Northwest's premier patterned speed horse competition. The show will once again be held at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, WA on September 27th-29th! Known nationally for the high caliber riders and horses that compete, we expect this year's event to be our best yet. Last year we had a great turnout of exceptional competitors which saw us give out over $12,000 in prizes! This year we are continuing the tradition and surely won't disappoint with first place Trophy Saddles and many other great awards for the top ten riders in each age division. Other great prizes include champion buckles, Back On Track products, and other outstanding prizes hand picked by our Past President and O-Mok-See Chair(wo)man Natalie Pemble! In addition to the top ten awards there will be several money added jackpot events, team events and even raffle prizes for volunteers who help out with raking and arena duties. So get your horses in shape and your entry forms mailed so we can make this year's O-MOK-SEE bigger and better than ever! We look forward to seeing you all at another outstanding O-MOK-SEE!
